The iconic Forth Railway Bridge, photographed from Queensferry. Completed in 1890, it’s an engineering marvel and an architectural work of art. Sir John Fowler and Sir Benjamin Baker were the primary engineers, but also participating was Kaichi Watanabe, one of the first Japanese engineers to study in the UK.
